Street
To paraphrase Samuel Johnson, when we are tired of the street, we are tired of life. Nowhere is the kaleidoscope of life more apparent than on our city streets. It’s a crash course in sociology. Our spirits fizz when our private selves confront the public hurly-burly. In the mise-en-scène of our streets we have no choice but to interrogate who we are and how we fit in. The streets give us access, entertainment, and a means to keep moving.
